Millhouse to Head So Cal Transportation Committee

The Moorpark City Council member has been involved with county transportation for more than 10 years.

Moorpark City Council member and former Southern California Regional Rail Authority chairman, Keith Millhouse, has been elected chairman of the Transportation Committee of the Southern California Association of Governments, or SCAG.

SCAG is a metropolitan planning organization that represents six counties—including Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside and Imperial counties—191 cities and more than 18 million Southern California residents. It undertakes a variety of planning and policy initiatives under the guidance of its regional council—of which Millhouse is a member—and in collaboration with its partners, to improve life for Southern Californians.

In a statement released by the city of Moorpark, Millhouse said he was happy to be elected to the position.
