Skater Brad McClain Visits Poindexter Park

The NorCal skate boarder is caught on video shredding at Moorpark's skate park.

Brad McClain, a well-known Northern California skateboarder from Livermore, recently spent some time in Moorpark shredding at the Poindexter Park skatepark—and it was caught on video.

A run was posted on YouTube last week (see video) and also was featured in Thrasher Magazine earlier this week. According to Thrasher, the video was put together by one of McClain's friends. The credit on YouTube is to Josh Chambers.

Moorpark's 14,000-square-foot skatepark was designed with input from local skateboarders and opened late in 2009. It's free to use, though younger skaters are required to have adult supervision.

Reviewers on ConcreteDisciple.com, a site dedicated to skate boarding, gave the park an average five out of five stars.

"I've skated the park and it's sick," wrote Alex G., a rider from Bakersfield. "I love the quarter pipes and the hubba. You can skate them all day."
