Bring the Olympic Spirit to Moorpark

We are all anticipating the start to the summer Olympics and the joy we feel for the athletes of all countries as they compete against each other. The athletes cherish the friends they make and the cross cultural understanding they gain as they live, eat and compete together.

In our town, we can have the same cross cultural experience by choosing to welcome or host and exchange student for 6 weeks to 10 months through PAX Program of Academic Exchange. Families are asked to open their hearts and their homes, providing a bed, a quiet place to study and family meals. The rewards to the family are infinite; the increased understanding of another culture, a life-long friend across the oceans, interest in the language and geography of a distant region and the knowledge you are changing the life of a very lucky teen.

Interested families may call the PAX National Office at 800-555-6211, ext 334 (Ask for Annette.) PAX is a non-profit foundation, (501c3) dedicated to world peace through cross-cultural understanding.
