Applications for 2nd Annual Conejo Valley Days Outhouse Races Now Available

Applications are now available for the 2nd Annual Conejo Valley Days (CVD) Outhouse Races. The races will take place Saturday, May 10 at 4:00 p.m. during CVD (Conejo Creek Park South, Thousand Oaks).

"Last year, the race was a huge hit with the crowd," says Chris dePalma, outhouse race chairperson. "Entrants were very creative with their outhouse designs. The winner was a tribute to Elvis. Outhouse names included ‘Gotta Go,’ ‘Ye Olde John’ and ‘Poop Coupe.’”

"Each outhouse entry must have its name displayed on the exterior of the outhouse," says dePalma. "Recruit their family, friends or co-workers to form teams."

Trophies will be awarded to first, second and third place winners. In addition, there will be a "People’s Choice Award." For information and entry forms, go to www.conejovalleydays.us or contact dePalma, cvdouthouserace@gmail.com.
