Soon after word spread about the death of a Moorpark High School student Thursday, friends, classmates and others started sharing memories and condolences.
Among them, Moorpark Unified School District posted a note expressing its sorrow upon learning that one of its students took his life.
"We are deeply saddened as we all try to understand the events that led to this tragedy. Our deepest sympathies go out to the family of the student and to all the students and staff members of MUSD who had the opportunity to know him," the online note said.
