A Dense Fog Advisory was in effect Saturday night for Ventura County, authorities said.
Fog will begin to move into southern Los Angeles by midnight and will slowly spread northward, eventually into Ventura County, according to the National Weather Service.
Visibility is expected to be a quarter mile or less along the coast, making travel hazardous, the NWS reported.
Low visibility and slick roads will pose a danger to motorists, the agency stated.
