The weekend's coming, and if you don't have plans for it yet, Patch can help. Here's a list of events and activities taking place not too far away! Note we've left the Halloween activities off this list. You can find those here.

Lavendar Faire: This MUSE School fundraiser will feature music, dancing, singing, children's activities like crafts, art, building and a rock climbing wall. There will also be organic food available. The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (with an optional hike from 9 a.m. to noon) Saturday at 1666 Las Virgenes Canyon Road, Calabasas. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children.

Native Plant Walk: Enjoy a gentle walk through the King Gillette Ranch native plant garden to learn about changes in plants and animals through the seasons and discover how life adapts as temperatures drop and days get shorter. Meet inside the Santa Monica Mountains Visitor Center at 4 p.m. Saturday at the ranch, 26800 Mulholland Highway, Calabasas. This is a free event.

Roam'n Relics Car Show: The 33rd annual Roam'n Relics car show featuring pre-1974 vehicles, will also have food and car-themed merchandise vendors. The event takes place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in old town Moorpark along High Street.

Topanga Vintage Market: The monthly Vintage Market featuring antique and vintage furniture, fashion, jewelry, memorabilia and more is back. The market takes place at the Promenade parking lot (farmers market style) at 6100 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $2.

Whale Wars' Star Talk and Screening: Peter Brown, star of Animal Planet's Whale Wars, will speak about his activism in the environmental movement and screen his documentary, Confessions of an Eco-Terrorist from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Grant Brimhall Library, 1410 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks. This is a free event.
