Hollywood Voice Actor to Speak in Moorpark

Moorpark Presbyterian Church is hosting James Arnold Taylor—the voice of Fred Flintstone, Obi-Wan Kenobi and many more characters—who will present "Talking to Myself."

James Arnold Taylor spends all day in a padded room talking to himself. And he gets paid for it. That's because Taylor is a popular Hollywood voice actor and he'll be giving a talk Saturday at Moorpark Presbyterian Church.

Taylor is the voice of characters as wide ranging as Fred Flintstone to Johnny Test to Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: The Clone Wars to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Leonardo.

On Saturday, he'll be delivering his family-friendly presentation, Talking to Myself (see video), in which he encourages the audience to seek and find the dream insde them to make themselves and the world around them better, said MPC's associate pastor, Janet Loughry.

The talk begins at 7 p.m. at the church, which is at 13950 Peach Hill Road. Admission is free, though donations will be accepted. Admission is limited to the first 500 people. Free child care is available for kids up to age 5. Call 805-529-8422, ext. 4 for details and to make arrangements.
