Are you a member of a local band? Do you like to perform?
The City of Moorpark is in search of local bands and musicians to perform during two events this summer.
The annual "Battle of the Bands" will be held on Saturday, July 21, at the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center at 6 p.m. The audience will vote for their favorite bands. The winning band gets $100.
The second event is "Arroyopalooza," a free outdoor music festival on Saturday, August 4, at Arroyo Vista Community Park, beginning at 1 p.m.
There is a $10 entry fee per band for "Battle of the Bands," while "Arroyopalooza" has no entry fee.
