Kiwanis Brings Country Music Festival to Simi

The Round Up country music extravaganza will take place Saturday at Hummingbird Ranch.

While mmany Southern Californians will travel down to the Cochella Valley for the annual music festival this weekend, folks in Simi Valley will be taking part in a closer-to-home music festival as well.

The Kiwanis Club is bringing a bit of country to Simi Valley via the Round Up music festival.

Billed as a rockin' country music extravaganza, Round Up will feature headliner John Michael Montgomery. Also performing are the Walking Phoenixes, Brent Payne, The Silverados, Kristen Castro and Herrick. Summer James of K-Hay radio will serve as emcee for the event.

Gates at Round Up open at 10 a.m. and music runs from 11:15 a.m. to 7 p.m.

General admission tickets are $20 in advance and are available on the Round Up website. A special terrace package is also available for $80. General admission tickets are $25 at the door.

Hummingbird Ranch is located at 2940 Kuehner Drive, Simi Valley; however, on-site parking is $20 per car. A free shuttle service is available.
