Moorpark's Next 15 Minutes of Fame

Underwood Family Farms will appear on a Food Network show Sunday.

It seems Moorpark has been getting plenty of television air time lately. Our fair city will once again appear on the Food Network, and no—this time it won't be featuring Cafe Firenze's Fabio Viviani of Top Chef fame.

According to The Acorn, Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off, a celebrity cooking competition show, visited Underwood Family Farms over the summer and the episode featuring one of Moorpark's familiar locations will air Sunday. Check your local guide for show times.

Celebrity Cook-Off features celebrities cooking their way through challenges, with the winner receiving $50,000 for a charity of his or her choice and, of course, the title of Cook-Off Champion, according to the Food Network website. See a clip about the show here (you can see Underwood Farms at the very end of the clip).

Celebrities participating in the show's second season are Chilli, Gilbert Gottfried, Cornelia Guest, Dean McDermott, Kathy Najimy, Hines Ward, Carnie Wilson and Johnny Weir.

The Sunset Valley Road Moorpark location of Underwood Family Farms featured in the episode is closed through February, but reopens to the public March 1. When open, the farm features a produce market, pick-your-own-produce opportunities, and farm animal center.

If you can't wait for March, though, the Underwood's Somis location is open at 5696 Los Angeles Ave.
