Muvico Offers Free 'Lorax' Screening

Free movies are offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays through Aug. 15.

What's better than spending time watching a movie at an air-conditioned theater in the middle of summer? Spending time at a FREE movie in an air-conditioned theater—and you can do that today in Thousand Oaks.

Muvico will host a free screening of The Lorax at 10 a.m.

In this version of Dr. Seuss' environmental tale, a 12-year-old boy learns about the Lorax as he searches for the very last truffula tree seed to give to a girl. The animated movie stars Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Zac Efron, Taylor Swift and Betty White.

The free screening is part of a summer film fest series in which Muvico, located at 166 West Hillcrest Drive at The Oaks mall, offers free movies Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays through Aug. 15.

July 16-18: The Lorax
July 23-25: Clifford's Really Big Movie
July 30-Aug. 1: Happy Feet Two
Aug. 6-8: How to Train Your Dragon
Aug. 13-15: Cloudy With a Chance of Meat Balls
