Ska Daddyz and Mikey Mo Blues to Headline Moorpark Beer Festival

The Moorpark Beer Festival has announced that the musical lineup for the 4th annual festival will include Ska Daddyz, Mikey Mo Blues and Sonic Abatement.  

The bands will play sets on the main stage at the October 12th festival with DJ Apple Juice acting as master of ceremonies as well as playing music between the acts of the other musicians.

"One of the unique features that we believe separates the Moorpark Beer Festival from other similar events is our commitment to providing high-quality entertainment for our guests," said Lilly Canterbury, chairwoman of the 4th Annual Moorpark Beer Tasting Festival. "Mikey Mo and Ska Daddyz are prominent artists in their respective genres and we believe they will provide a great show for the Moorpark Beer Festival.  We are also happy to welcome back Sonic Abatement and to have DJ Apple Juice as our MC.  They were well received at the 2012 festival and we know they will be crowd favorites again this year."

The festival is the annual fundraiser of the Moorpark Morning Rotary Club. Started in 2010, the event has become a staple in the Moorpark community calendar and funds the Rotary Club’s philanthropic efforts throughout the year. All of the proceeds of the Moorpark Beer Festival will benefit the Moorpark Morning Rotary Club Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which uses the funds to support local schools and community organizations.

Last year, the foundation gave $25,000 in festival profits to 20 local schools and nonprofits.
