The Ventura County Blues Society (VCBS) just announced its "Sunday Matinee Concert Series" featuring the likes of renowned guitarist Chris Cain and Jimmy Thackery, among a few of the most popular names in the American Blues scene.

The following will be opening for Cain tomorrow, July 8: Tommy Marsh and Bad Dog, fronted by VCBS-sponsored Wednesday night jam leader, guitarist-vocalist Tommy Marsh; and L.A. area favorites (and recent International Blues Challenge competitors) Kelly’s Lot, featuring dynamic vocalist, Kelly Zirbes.

The show starts at 1 p.m. but doors will open at 12 p.m. Tickets are $20 for VCBS members and $25 for the general public. Tickets may be purchased online at www.venturacountybluessociety.org.

If you miss this one, two other concerts are being planned for August and September.
