September 16, 2012 - National Guacamole Day!
Celebrate National Guacamole Day with the Avocado Diva
Yes, there truly is a day for each and every thing!
Today (Sunday) is "National Guacamole Day".
If you have never made guacamole - it's really pretty easy and very tasty and also quite good for you! It's a lower calorie dip than your average onion or ranch dip because avocados have way less fat than mayonaise or sour cream. (Plus - it's the "good" kind of fat.)

sprinkle of lime or lemon juice
sprinkle of salt

Eat with tortilla chips
You can elaborate from there! Most people have their "secret" recipe - and will add tomatoes, cilantro, onions, garlic, etc.
