Moorpark Brewery Pours First Pint

The Enegren Brewing Company's Protector IPA is available at Lemmo's Grill and The Dougout.

Moorpark’s new—and only—brewery, Enegren Brewing Company, has tapped its first keg.

The brewery delivered its first keg to last week and the restaurant began pouring right away. The beer is also available by the glass at and growlers, or half-gallon bottles, will be available at the brewery itself after its official grand opening later this month.

Brewers Matt and Chris Enegren and Joe Nascenzi started making beer in college, first in their dorm rooms then in backyards and garages. In September, they got the City’s blessing, via a conditional use permit, to open a commercial brewery in a Moorpark wharehouse.
