Moorpark Prepares for Restaurant Week

A dozen of the city's eateries will participate.

If you've been meaning to try a particular Moorpark restaurant, next week might be the perfect time. The city's Restaurant Week will take place Monday through Jan. 27.

Twelve of the city's dining establishments will offer special deals ranging from fixed cost menus to reduced priced meals during this promotional initiative that is taking place in conjunction with a statewide Restaurant Month.

California Restaurant Month, an initiative of Visit California, was created to encourage post-holiday travel to the state as well as position California as the top U.S. culinary destination. More than 30 cities, including neighboring Simi Valley, will participate this year.
