Patch Picks: WiFi Spots

Here's our list of free hot spots in the city.

If you're anything like us, sometimes working from home can be too quiet to work. Or maybe there are too many distractions there: clothes to be washed, beds to be made, television to be watched...

That's why you'll often find Patch out and about at one of Moorpark's coffee shops, armed with a lap top and sugar-free, fat-free mocha iced blended drink in hand. After more than a year of writing in town, we've become a bit of an authority (at least in our minds) on where the reliable—and free—wifi hotspots are.

In no particular order, here are our Patch Picks for businesses that offer free WiFi. If you have others to recommend, be sure to add them in the comments section.

  1. Moorpark Auto Spa
  2. Starbucks—Collins Drive

And, of course, it's not a business but the the Moorpark City Library offers free WiFi - and if you don't have your laptop with you, there are computers for your use as well.

As always, if you happen to see Patch editor Becca Whitnall in one of the city's coffee shops (you can identify her by the big Patch sticker on her computer), stop and say hello, let her know what you think of the site or pass along any news tips or story ideas you have.
