The coffee and shop chain was founded in Southern California in 1994. In Moorpark, the shop is owned by Bill Stack and located in the Moorpark Marketplace, 888 W. Los Angeles Ave., near Khol's and next to Red Brick Pizza.

The coffee shop serves a variety of hot and cold tea and coffee, pastries and oatmeal and has it's fair share of friendly regulars—including one of our favorite local journalists!

It's open from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. It's also known for opening up early and keeping the doors open late on Black Friday, providing shoppers with a little extra energy.

Winners of our Reader's Choice for the "best of" will receive a certificate proclaiming them the Patch readers' favorite.
