Grocery Tip of the Week: Have you used your crock pot lately? Many of us actually own one but never use it. Crock pots help save money on the food bill when dinner is cooking all day, ready when we arrive home, and that prevents us from wanting to pick up pricey fast food. A crock pot also uses less electricity than an oven. Crock pot recipes abound on the internet so take a few moments to do a search. You will be pleased at your food savings—and the wonderful smells that will fill your home that only a crock pot can offer.
