Aviara Real Estate recently announced that Karen Betancourt has joined the firm as Director of Business Development and as a Shareholder/Owner with the Betancourt Realty Group.
Karen has enjoyed many different aspects of the real estate business for the past 28 years. Initially a real estate associate and consistent top producer in the Century 21 system, Karen later held a management position with one of the largest local firms, Century 21 Village Oaks which is now Prudential California Realty in Thousand Oaks, handling management responsibilities for the firm for several years. She also spent 9 years operating one of the highest revenue producing escrow offices for Fidelity National Title. Most recently she spent 5 years as a Team Leader with Keller Williams. She has been a recruiter and trainer for many new agents and currently service as a Director for the Conejo Moorpark Simi Board of Realtors and is a C.A.R. Director.

Her experience dealing with all types of transactions such as short sales, REO’s, relocation as well as resale and refinance transactions from both real estate and escrow/title perspectives. Karen’s vast knowledge allows her to effectively work in recruiting and training of new shareholders and team members for Aviara Real Estate as their Director of Business Development. Additionally she plans on developing her own team of professionals under the Betancourt Realty Group. “I am thrilled to be part of Aviara Real Estate. Karen has lived in the Conejo Valley/Moorpark areas for 30 years and has been very active in the community holding positions such as a local Committee Chairperson and Cubmaster for a local Scout troop, Past President of the Moorpark High Girls’ Soccer Club, Past President of Friends of Moorpark Library and membership in other charitable organizations. She is also a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors and holds the SRES, e-Pro, HAFA and SFR certifications.
