- Hey early risers, joing the Chamber of Commerce for its monthly networking breakfast at 7:30 a.m. at the Moorpark Country Club. Breakfast is $20 at the door.
- The Moorpark Civic Ballet presents its annual production of The Nutcracker at 1:30 and 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 Thousand Oaks Blvd. Tickets can be purchased at Pam Rossi's Dance Ten.
- Santa’s glittering train, the Metrolink Holiday Toy Express, is coming to town at 7 p.m. Saturday at the High Street train station. There will also be a holiday boutique, strolling carolers and more beginning at 4 p.m.
- Moorpark's lowest price per gallon for regular gas is down to $3.53 according to GasBuddy.com. Find it at the Union 76 station at 13800 Princeton Ave.
- The National Weather Service is predicting a high near 61 degrees and a low near 45 degrees.
