- The Active Adult Center will celebrate February birthdays with a Mardi Gras celebration at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday. Lunch, which costs $2.75, will be followed with New Orleans music. Call 805-517-6261 to make reservations, which are required.
- The Regan Library will host a Presidents Day celebration Monday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is free but admission to the actual museum applies. The museum is at 40 Presidential Drive in Simi Valley.

- The National Weather Service is predicting a high near 59 degrees and a low near 43 degrees with a chance of drizzle.
- Moorpark's lowest price per gallon for regular gas is $4.03, according to GasBuddy.com. Find it at the Shell station at 6599 Collins Drive.
