  1. Moorpark Police Department continues to offer Business Watch, a free program that shows business owners and their employes crime prevention techniques and strategies they can use to help cut down business-related crime through a variety of seminars.   2. The Active Adult Center celebrates January birthdays on Wednesday with a musical montage luncheon beginning at 11:45 a.m. Lunch is $2.75 for those 60 and older. Call 805-517-6261 for reservations.
  3. Warm up those vocal chords and dust off your dance shoes. Moorpark Has Talent auditions are next month. Registration begins Feb. 6. Get information from the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center by calling 805-517-6300.
  4. The National Weather Service is predicting a high near 67 degrees and a low near 51 degrees.
  5. Moorpark's lowest price per gallon for regular gas is $3.71, according to GasBuddy.com. Find it at the Alliance station at 50 W. Los Angeles Ave.
