5 Things to Know Today: March 14

Here are five facts to start your Wednesday.

Welcome to "5 Things to Know Today," a daily Patch feature that provides five quick tidbits of information in one spot. Here they are:

  1. Today, the library hosts storytime for children at 10:30 a.m. Join Mrs. T for a story, songs and crafts. Later, from 4 to 6 p.m., there will be Wii gaming for teens.
  2. Free adult immunizations for hepatitus A&B, TDAP, pertussis, Whooping cough, tetanus and diptheria will be administered in Thousand Oaks on Wednesday morning. We know it's not in Moorpark, but it's close by and free to those who need it. Call 805-497-3575 for more information and an appointment.
  3. The chorus at Moorpark High School will perform a Vocal Arts Salute to Broadway from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday at the school's performing arts center. Call the school at 805-378-6305 for more information.
  4. The National Weather Service is predicting a high near 65 degrees and a low near 50 degrees.
  5. Moorpark's lowest price per gallon for regular gas is $4.37, according to GasBuddy.com. Find it at the Union 76 stations at 13800 Princeton Ave. and 550 W. Los Angeles Ave. and the Shell stations at 6599 Collins Drive and 301 W. Los Angeles Ave.
