Welcome to "5 Things to Know Today," a daily Patch feature that provides five quick tidbits of information in one spot. Here they are:

  1.   begins tonight at Moorpark High School. Performances, which begin at 7 p.m. run through Saturday at the school's performing arts center. Tickets are $7.
  2. Recycle with brAvery, a recycling effort spearheaded by Moorpark's Avery Sax, 11, is having its latest recycling event Friday and Saturday. If you'd like to help Avery reach her goal for the community of recycling 100,000 beverage containers, bring them to a participating rePlanet Recycling Center (the one in Moorpark is at 101 W. Los Angeles Ave. and is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and tell the on-site employee that you are recycling for brAvery.
  3. On Saturday, , is hosting a to raise funds for the organization. The class runs from noon to 2 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club gym with a minimum donation of $10.
