- The City of Moorpark will host two affordable housing workshops for first time buyers, one tonight and a second on Thursday. Both meetings are at 6 p.m. Buyers participating in the City's affordable housing program must attend one of the meetings, which will be held at City Hall, 799 Moorpark Ave. Call 805-517-6243 for a reservation.
- Did you know you can register your Ralphs Reward Card to help benefit the Moorpark Boys and Girls Club without affecting your own rewards or rebates? Find out how on the Boys and Girls Club website.
- The monthly produce giveaway at Moorpark's takes place at 10 a.m. Thursday. As well, registration for next month's classes begins Sept. 26. Programs are free and available to all Moorpark children 5 and younger. Call the center at 805-552-1917.
- Moorpark's lowest price per gallon for regular gas is $3.91, according to GasBuddy.com. Find it at the Alliance station at 50 W. Los Angeles Ave.
- The National Weather Service is predicting a high of 84 degrees and a low of 61 degrees. The forecast is for mid to low 80s all week.
