Now's the time to sign up for the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center summer camps.

  1. The Planning Commission has a regularly scheduled meeting at 7 p.m.  at . On the agenda for public hearings is a termination of a development agreement with Southern California Edison on 8.79 acres of land north of the railroads and west of Gabbert Road. The Commission will also consider approving a condition permit to allow the sale of beer, wine and distilled spirits at Target. Learn more about the Planning Commission here.
  2. The Arroyo Vista Recreation Center is offering a number of summer camps. Check them out and register for them on the City's website.
  3. Did you know there's an annual international field hockey tournament that takes place at Moorpark College each year? The California Cup will celebrate its 40th year this weekend with teams from all over the world. Check it out!
  4. The National Weather Service is predicting a high of 73 degrees. The low will be around 52 degrees.
  5. The lowest price for regular gasoline in Moorpark, according to VenturaGasPrices.com, is 4.07 per gallon. Find it at the Alliance station at 50 W. Los Angeles Ave.
