High Wind Warning in Effect

The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for Ventura and Los Angeles counties through Saturday.

The northeast Santa Ana winds will reach 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 45 miles per hour, the NSW predicts. The strongest wind gust will occur mid morning through noon, it said.

The service said the gusty cross winds could have an impact on highways 101, 23, 118 and 126, as the winds could make driving more difficult and could blow debris onto the road.
