National Weather Service Issues Another Wind Warning

The high wind advisory is in effect through Friday afternoon.

The National Weather Service has issued another high wind advisory for Moorpark and much of the rest of Ventura County. According to the warning, gusty offshore winds will blow through Friday afternoon.

NOAA's advisory said wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour in the mountains and up to 40 miles per hour in the valleys can be expected. Gusty cross winds will create hazards for motorists—especially those driving high-profile nehicles—on area roadways. Highways 101, 118 and 126 will likely be impacted by the gusty northeast winds, the advisory said.
