Rain Expected to Return Tonight
The National Weather Service is predicting gusty winds will accompany the rain.
The second of this week's two storms is on its way, according to the National Weather Service.
The storm system, which is making its way to land from the eastern Pacific, will likely hit Caifornia's central coast Thursday evening and then make its way south and moving inland, dropping rain in Ventura County overnight Thursday , the NWS said. Between one quarter and three quarters inches of rain are expected.
The Weather Service said there is a slight chance of thunderstorms Friday night and gusty winds Thursday night and Friday.
