Readers' Choice: Vote for the Best Sandwich in Moorpark

Vote for the best place to buy sandwiches in Moorpark so we can find out which is the Readers’ Choice 2012 winner.

Open-faced, foot-long, toasted--sandwiches come in as many varieties as there are ingredients to stuff them with, but a truly good sandwich is more than cheese, meat and wheat. It's an art form.

Some sandwiches may even melt your heart, as one writer suggested of the culinary concoctions offered at the .

But where can you find the best sandwich in Moorpark?

Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who likes their meals between two slices of bread to vote for the best places to find them in Moorpark.

Thanks in advance for your participation.

PS: Sign up for the Moorpark Patch newsletter to find out when voting ends in August so you can support your favorite business in the Readers' Choice contest.

I've always been partial to the paninis at Kate's Bakery and Coffee Shop.

My vote is for the shrimp po'boy at the Dugout. Excellent quality shrimp, great bread, And the best fries in Moorpark.

I live up the street from them. Delicious, fresh, homemade and have beer too! Love their concept of gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. Been working my way through the menu!!

Custom Melt offers very unique sandwiches by owners who take pride in their food and express appreciation to people patronizing the restaurant. I hope they win your Readers' Choice contest.

Carli's on High St. is THE place for a pastrami or philly cheesesteak sandwich. The meat is quality and the bread is always fresh. Their homemade fries and chips are excellent. On top of that the people are always friendly.

The New Custom Melt in the Campus Plaza over by the college has fantastic sandwiches that you can't get anywhere else. The owners are friendly as described and the atmosphere is friendly.
