FRIDAY

Cups: 8 p.m., Civic Arts Plaza,  2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks. This one-woman show traces the lmilestones in a woman’s life through the bras that she’s worn. The play runs through Sept. 4; Times and days vary. $29-$34.

Once on This Island: 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays through Aug. 28; Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center,  3050 Los Angeles Ave., Simi Valley. This Caribbean-flavored musical set on an unnamed island in the French Antilles tells the story of a peasant girl who falls in love above her class. $22 for adults, $18 students and seniors, $16 children 12 and younger.          

11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Seaside Park, 10 W. Harbor Blvd., Ventura. The fair, with midway rides, entertainment, animals and more continues through Sunday. Admission is $12 for adults, $9 for seniors and children 6 to 12. Parking is $9, but free shuttles are also available.

SATURDAY

Skate Fest: 1 p.m. Poindexter Park, 500 Poindexter Ave., Moorpark. $2.

Summer Concert Alfresco: 6 to 8 p.m., Simi Valley Town Center. This week Beach Boys tribute band Orange Colored Sky performs. Free.

And a bonus:

MONDAY

: 6 to 10 p.m., Café Firenze, 563 Los Angeles Ave., Moorpark. Enjoy a buffet-style dinner by Chef Fabio Viviani (of Top Chef fame) while chatting with other supporters of the arts at this High Street Arts Center benefit.There will also be raffles and a silent auction. $95.
