Children of Many Colors Native American Powwow

Ventura County's premier American Indian gathering. Native American singing, drumming, dancing, flute music, foods, indigenous arts and crafts vendors, storytellers, traditional dwellings. Bird singing, gourd dancing, Princess contest, social dances, non profit booths, flint knapping and more.  Outdoor event; chairs and shade canopies welcome.  Handicapped access and ADA restrooms. Veteran's Honoring, Sunday 11 AM, all Veterans welcome. Public welcome! $2.00 per vehicle donation suggested, service animals welcome.  The Children of Many Colors Powwow is hosted by Redbird, a non profit Native American and environmental association.  This is a family friendly event and an excellent opportunity to experience Native American culture first hand.  Open flute circle Friday evening; Powwow Saturday and Sunday.
