The Conejo Valley YMCA, serving Thousand Oaks, Moorpark and the Santa Rosa Valley, is holding an open house Saturday, February 22 where adults and children can participate in fun and healthy activities. Open house hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Adult group exercise classes (ages 12 and up) run from 10:00 a.m. to noon and include yoga, Zumba, aquacise and Pilates. From noon to 2:00 p.m., kids ages three and older can take part in gymnastics, dance and ballet. Also from noon to 2:00 p.m., are archery, rock wall climbing and arts and crafts. From 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., everyone is invited to the YMCA’s indoor heated pool for family swim time.

“We hope the open house and all the free activities will motivate participants to lead a more active, healthier lifestyle,” says Rochelle Callis, acting executive director of the Y. “At the Y, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to feel their best so we offer programs for all ages, from newborns to seniors.”
