Live the Faith of Easter

How do I get THROUGH my days of pain? 

The answer is Easter.

How do I get THROUGH my days of doubt? 

The answer is Easter.

How do I get TO joy and victory?

The answer is Easter!

I want you to think about it.  That first Easter weekend was marked by every emotion you can imagine, all the feelings represented in life.  They were all there that first Easter weekend.

Friday was a day of undeniable despair and pain.  Jesus had died.

Saturday was a day of confusion and doubt and fear. No one knew what to expect next.

And Sunday, of course, became a day of unparalleled joy and victory.

Let me ask you a question--how do you want to live your life? 

With the despair of Friday?

With the doubt of Saturday?

What if there is a way to live a life of joy and victory and no longer succumb to days of doubt or times of despair?

You ask, “Brad, is that realistic?  Can we ALWAYS have joy?”

The joy of scripture is internal calm and confidence.  It’s the interior smirk of the person who knows something--they deeply KNOW something--that makes their painful place seem temporary and makes their hard time ok.

What if you could live like that?

How do we move from Friday Faith, or Saturday Faith to Easter Faith?  This weekend, there are three opportunities to find the answer to that question.  8:00AM, 9:30AM and 11:00AM. Children’s programs are offered during the 9:30 and 11:00 services.
