  1. Curious about where the city stands and where it's headed? Consider attending Mayor Janice Parvin's State of the City address hosted by the Chamber of Commerce at Cafe Firenze March 21. Make reservations, which are $35 per person, online.
  2. Make an appointment now for household hazardous waste disposal event March 9 and 10. The program, which takes place in Camarillo, is free to Moorpark residents, but appointments are required. Make one by calling 805-987-0717.
  3. The Moorpark High School aquatics program is seeking sponsorships from businesses. Business owners interesting in making a donation can find more information on the teams' website.
  4. The National Weather Service is predicting a high near 77 degrees and a low near 56 degrees with a chance of drizzle.
  5. Moorpark's lowest price per gallon for regular gas is $4.13, according to GasBuddy.com. Find it at the Union 76 station at 550 W. Los Angesles Ave.
