Moorpark's 5 Things to Know Today: August 3

Here's what's happening in and around Moorpark at-a-glance.

  1. Make sure you stop by the  today from 3 to 7 p.m. for the freshest produce, flowers, gourmet items and other interesting finds for your summer barbecue.
  2. Have fun reading lines and slipping into character!  All ages are welcome and no experience is necessary in this acting class for seniors. Classes are taught by Nino Rizzi and meet on Fridays from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at the Moorpark Active Adult Center.
  3. Tomorrow is the . Head over to  starting at 1 p.m., for this free event.
  4. Also tomorrow is "craft buffet," for the pre-school to 5th grade crowd. Head to the with your creative ideas at 1:30 p.m. for some fun with crafts.
