Moorpark's 5 Things to Know Today: July 18

Have fun experimenting with tie dye today at the library and start planning for the weekend.

  1. Create your own unique piece of clothing with tie dye. Head to the today at 2 p.m. for "Fun with Tie Dye." The free event is open to all 6th to 12th graders.
  2. Calling all would-be Girl Scout Daisies and Brownies. Come to a on Friday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at  and learn more about becoming a Girl Scout. 
  3. The Ventura County Astronomical Society (VCAS) will lend its expertise and hold a  open to the public. The event will take place on Friday, July 20, at 8 p.m. (weather permitting) at the Charles Temple Observatory of .
