Reagan Library Announces July 4 Activities

The library has family fun scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library announced its day full of family-fun July 4 activities Tuesday. 

This year’s celebration, which marks the country's 237th birthday, activities include patriotic concerts, family entertainment, games, crafts, and more. 

The schedule is as follows:

10am-3pm:
Children’s crafts (make a patriotic windsock, American eagle and patriotic fan); carnival and picnic games (sack races, spinner cone races, ring toss, and more); mingle with Betsy Ross; have your picture taken with presidential re-enactors

10am-12pm: Musical performance by the Good Times Band

10am-2pm: Portrayals of Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Abraham Lincoln and George Washington

1pm-3pm: Musical performance by the Los Angeles Police Department Concert Band


The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library is located at 40 Presidential Drive, Simi Valley. All outdoor activities are free; admission rates ($16 general admission; $13 for seniors 62 and older; $9 for children 11-17; $6 for children 5-10 and free for children 4 and younger) apply to view the Reagan Museum, Air Force One Pavilion and the new Lincoln: The Exhibition.
