Sheriff's Department Collects Toys for County Children

A collection bin will be at the Moorpark Police Station through Dec. 20.

The Ventura County Sheriff's Department is collecting toys for its annual "Share - iff's Toy Drive."

Now in its 27th year, the department collects unwrapped toys for underprivileged children 16 and younger in Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Fillmore, Moorpark, Ojai and the unincorporated areas serviced by the Sheriff's department.

Sheriff patrol stations—including the Moorpark Police Services Building—will have boxes on hand where the public can leave the toys from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday through Dec. 20.
