Blog Post: The Political Arena
When the opportunity presents itself to vote locally, I do have to say I support for Congress David Pollock.
It is so fascinating watching the news on the political front. Having essentially only two political parties in this nation coupled with the financial necessity required to influence the voter, makes a regular person wonder if anyone can really make a difference.
Still, it is the American system and there are good and caring politicians who work their butts off to try and make a difference. I still enjoy the whole spectacle knowing that, whatever my party affiliation, my personal decision never to vote party, but always vote the person for me, is the right decision. Bottom line is—whatever a person's personal political beliefs—what is most important is to vote your heart and enjoy the process with a sense of humor and sometimes a little smile on your face.
Here in Moorpark we do have the opportunity to support our local Moorpark City Councilmember David Pollock in his quest for the office of representative for the 26th Congressional District. He will make a fine representative in Congress for our area.
