Golf Club Teams Up With Reagan Foundation

More than half the holes at Moorpark's offer a view of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, but the tie between the club and the library now goes beyond that.

The par-72 puplic golf club is dedicating its 11th hole to Ronald Reagan and placing a permanent plaque there saying as much. The inscription will say, "The 11th Hole at the Tierra Rejada Golf Club is dedicated to President Ronald Reagan, who always believed like golfers do, 'Our most glorious achievements are just ahead.' "

The other part of the connection is a new partnership between the club and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation that establishes discount opportunities to both Reagan Foundation members and golfers.

Members of the foundation will receive $15 off green fees when they present their Foundation membership card at the golf club and golfers who present their golfing receipt can get 10 percent off a Reagan Foundation membership and a free pack of presidential golf balls.
