Moorpark's 5 Things to Know Today: April 15

Here are five facts to start your Sunday.

Welcome to "5 Things to Know Today," a daily Patch feature that provides five quick tidbits of information in one spot. Here they are:

  1. The Southern California Youth Invitational track meet continues today at Moorpark High School. More than 2,000 athletes ages 8 to 14 are expected to participate. Events begin at 8:30 a.m.
  2. The production of Harvey takes the stage tonight at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for children, $14 for seniors, military personnel, students and teachers and $18 for everyone else.
  3. The Arroyo Vista Recreation Center has new classes and camps starting May 7. Learn more about them or sign up now on the City of Moorpark/Arroyo Vista website.
  4. The National Weather Service is predicting a high near 66 degrees and a low near 49 degrees.
  5. Moorpark's lowest price per gallon for regular gas is $4.23, according to GasBuddy.com. Find it at the Union 76 stations at 13800 Princeton Ave. and 550 W. Los Angeles Ave. and at the Shell station at 301 W. Los Angeles Ave.
