Moorpark's 5 Things to Know Today: July 21

Can this Saturday be more spectacular with the annual "Battle of the Bands" returning to Moorpark?

  1. Take a break from the warm weather and cool off at the . Teen volunteers will facilitate some summer-themed crafts and family-style games starting at 1:30 p.m.

  3. The Ventura County Stand Down is ongoing until Sunday, at the California Army National Guard Armory in Ventura. The  will give homeless veterans access to shower facilities, hot meals, medical treatment and legal services.
