Moorpark's 5 Things to Know Today: July 25

Here's what's happening in and around Moorpark at-a-glance.

  1. Today at 8 p.m. is the deadline for the teen book cover design contest at the . The winning cover will permanently replace one copy in the teen collection. The top five entries will be turned into posters and displayed at the library.
  2. There's a free family karate class today at 6:15 p.m. at . This free class is open to all levels, children and adults alike. 
  3. Have you hopped on the  yet? Take it to Zuma Beach on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays until August 16 and save on parking and gas. Fares are $5 round-trip for adults and students, $2 for seniors (age 62+) and children under 5 are free.
