Scouts to Host Food Fundraiser

Boy Scout Troop 604 will also serve as church ushers.

As part of its Boy Scout Sunday observance, members of Troop 604, chartered and hosted by Moorpark Presbyterian Church, will serve as ushers at the church's morning services and host a food fundraiser Feb. 26.

Beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the church parking lot, goodies from specialty hot dog food truck Haunt Dawgz, cupcakes from For Heaven's Sake—which has been featured on the Food Network's Cupcake Wars—and pizza from Me-N-Ed's will be on sale for between $3 to $10.

Proceeds will be added to the Robert Grimaud Fund, which is used to help troop members attend camps and trips when finances would otherwise inhibit their ability to go. Grimoud was a scout leader and active with the church.
