Vehicle Collides with Moorpark School Bus

Driver arrested for being under the influence

The California Highway Patrol announced that a passenger car driving southbound on Mountain Meadow Drive near Tierra Rejada Road collided with a Moorpark school bus Wednesday at about 2:30 p.m.

The school bus was approaching Tierra Rejada in the right-hand turn lane and was slowing for traffic when the vehicle crashed into the rear of the bus.

No injuries were reported but authorities said the driver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
