CHP Offers Teen-Driver Safety Course

The monthly classes aim to reduce traffic-related injuries and deaths.

The California Highway Patrol is offering a traffic safety program for teenage drivers later this month. The program, called Start Smart, is designed as an educational tool for parents and teenagers aimed at reducing the number of traffic injuries and deaths among teens.

The class will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. June 23 at the Moorpark Police Services building, where the Moorpark CHP office is located, 610 Spring Rd.
