CHP Officer Honored for Traffic Safety Efforts

Brett Lynsky made a total of 96 DUI arrests and 420 traffic citations last year.

Officer Brett Lynski of the California Highway Patrol's Moorpark office was recently honored for his traffic safety efforts.

The California Highway Patrol, the California Office of Traffic Safety and the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control awarded Lynski the Individual Achievement Award for the Coastal Division of the CHP as part of the California Law Enforcement Challenge.

The challenge between CHP offices and officers promotes traffic safety, leading to a decrease in the number of on-the-road deaths in the state.
